Finally got around to getting my auto door on the coop when I did the cleaning this morning. Really for opening before I go outside in the mornings, especially when it’s raining or snowy. I’ll still be out there at night making sure they all made it in.
High quality materials, easy to install. A few screws, some caulking (I used Sashco Conceal chinking with some backer rod as I live in a cabin so I have tons of that stuff around), test and program the door and you’re done. I had my curious Nubian and Pygmy goats supervising and pushing into me to scratch their heads most of the install and it was still about 15 minutes to do.
