Flemish Giant Bunnies

Would really love to see baby pics..... I now know what breed my dd rabbit is. I was told that she is a Mini Rex. Um, I don't think she is a mini anything, lol. I will post a picture of her soon. I wish you were closer to me.

ETA: by far the best breed of rabbit. She is potty trained. There is a top level of her cage and that is the only spot she use's as a potty. So she has a litter box up there now.

Not to hijack your thread but thought I'd share my newest FG brood.....Up here FG's start at $60-$75 with pedigree. Then again we have major show lines, with G-CH's and have to have them shipped up. These guys are 4 weeks old.

I kind of feel jipped now. We paid $100 each without pedigree and ended up finding out later that the buns had really bad health issues. The entire litter didn't reach their 1st birthday.

I really like the Flemish Giants.
The only person close to me that raises them...well, I wouldn't buy anything else from him. I tried his Checkered Giants and they turned out to be so inbred that they were either sterile or had severe health problems, like okiron's, they didn't make it to their 1st birthday.

So, I'm going to try English Lops instead. I should be getting them within the next 2 months.

Oh how sad.

We guarantee our babies for the first year as long as there is documented hereditary problems from a vet. Any reputable breeder should, I don't think rabbits should be any different than selling a puppy.

Here are a few pic's , really hard to get them to stay together. LOL
Their almost 7 wks old . The breeders I got the parents from have many G-CH in the lines and are very well known in my area. I will be keeping a few to start showing this year at the state fair in Sept.
Other breeders in the area sell theirs starting at $60 and up. There's one breeders that selling pets for $85.

I love the lionheads, but sadly there is no one around me that sells them. I love those cute little fluff balls.
