I have three mutts - one who is currently snuggled into my jacket - and Just love my rabbits. Ive been given ten different rabbit cages from people - two that are the largest AND wire - I so I like seeing other peoples set ups.

So do I. Its interesting to see how others keep them. As long as they aren't running free, and are well fed, have space to move around, and cared for, it shouldn't matter.I have a few pet mutt rabbits too. Bunnies that people didn't want any more.

I *do* like the pet cages. They are nice. The OP was asking about show rabbits, not pets.

Its also annoying when people judge the show breeders for using wire hutches, when they know very little about them. When they are trying to give advice.

i bet your rabbits are all high quality and are well cared for i myself am going to post a thread with a question and hope u comment on it since u seem to be knowledgeable

Yes they are. Some of the best in the country. Mine win and place at ARBA nationals. Also win shows. Never have had a best 4 or 6 class. or best in show. But i have had a handful come very close to nailing it. have had some best in group winners though.

When i mean best, I mean placing that high at an ARBA all breed sanctioned show is very hard to do. Most judges won't look at them twice for the top awards unless its a really good one.

We used a 16sqft c & c cage for mocha & latte when they were inside. Instead of choroplast, we bought a heavy-duty chair mat to set it on, and litterbox trained them.

Here is one for you. Look at him playing with the pigeon(no contact between the two don't worry). Looks real unhappy doesn't he? Proof that they have plenty of room to get around in those so called tiny cages. Hopefully you can see it. It was clear on my camera. turned out really dark on my computer. Clicky the picture to make it work

And also... Momma used to be on eof the bunnies to beat for best in group on the show tables a year ago. She also placed sixth place jr doe(baby) at the ARBA national show and convention in 2007.
