We're thinking about raising ducks next spring and want flightless ducks. Also we were wondering if it is safe to have them swim in the pond behind our house (not penned in) and have them return to their coop, as well as share a run with our chickens. The breeds we want are Pekin, Blue Swedish, Welsh Harlequin, and one more(suggestions?), are they flightless?
