I have 5 blr wyandottes and they are about 22-24 weeks old. I have started them on purinas layena food, and we have grit in their run. The thing im worried about is their eggs. We think 2 chickens are laying (not sure if its one or two) and they've layed 3 healthy hard brown eggs. Today I went out to check on them and there were 2 soft eggs in their coop. The eggs were see through and felt like water balloons. One brake in my hand as i was carrying it to the trash. Please help! Any suggestions would help!

Give them Ground up OYSTER SHELL! The calcuium will harden their shells. Leave a bowl in their coop or wherever they are and keep enough in it, so they can choose to eat it. Also, feed them any egg-shells you have, just make sure to crush them up first.

Yep they need the calcium. Every egg I eat I ground up the shell and put it in their coop so they can decide if they need it or not. I have also sprinkled it into their food like salt. Oyster shell in a small dish for free choice 24/7

Their eggs should be hard before too long.

I have had a few of these also, and I think they are just an anomaly. My hens have free choice oyster shell and all that, and generally lay nice hard-shelled eggs, but on a couple of occasions I've found the water-balloon eggs too - seems like early in their laying careers. I think it's more a matter of some error of transit time thru the oviduct as they're getting going with this whole egg laying thing. I wouldn't worry about it, honestly, but I do think that oyster shell or other calcium free-choice supplement is helpful in maintaining good quality shells over time.

If she just started to lay...it may be that her body might just need to adjust to laying. Sometimes it takes a couple eggs to "work out the kinks". They are usually called soft shell eggs. I wouldn't worry too much. Her body will adjust.
