flip flop danger? story on msn

has anyone ever heard of this? this is kind of scary and or gross. but it's interesting, I had never thought about that but if you really think about it, it makes sense.

The first one is the actual story and then the second one is the homepage and then you can click on the picture thing to get to the story.

It's interesting. I wonder if it could/would apply to crocs? There is a video too, a story and a video.

I don't wear flip-flops ever - that do-dad between my toes drives me nuts - but I think all shoes probably have as much bacteria as flip-flops. C'mon...

They mention finding animal poo on the shoes - well, that wouldn't take a lab test to find on my shoes

and here I thought it was going to be about the spate of people getting their feet mangled in escalators... but GERMS, ok, I hadn't thought of that. Guess folks with diabetes have yet another restriction to think about? Personally, I'm such a klutz I only wear them beach, pool and in the house...but I will stop wearing them to the coop. My flip flops are kinda spongy, I don't want to carry around stuff to make my birds sick...wait, or me and the family.
