FLOAT test CONFUSION!!!

First to hatch will not shut up. The last one to hatch so far i can't tell if something is wrong with it (number 5!). As it was hatching a few of the chicks kept sitting on it and for a while it actually seemed like it had damaged it's neck? It was rolling around but couldn't straighten it's head, and as it was hatching one of the chicks kept trying to help it out (dragging at it...) Now, i'm not sure what happened after, and this may be completely normal... but when i saw it again it had a lump of skin or something attached to it's lower end...not sure if this is because it didn't leave it in the shell (whatever it is, really have no idea) or if it's something INTERNAL that is on the outside but shouldn't be?

I can't really get a good picture...and google comes up useless since i don't know what i am looking for...

The bird is still moving around and is moving it's neck and lifting it more but not like the rest...it's the mass i'm slightly worried about..

I have two that have started to hatch, one is still pipping and stopped a while ago, the other has nearly broke through the shell enough to escape.

As for the noisy pest, wish i knew what he was shouting about! How long would it be until they need to drink or eat? I have both water and food in there...not sure how long it will be until they try tasting it.. hoping they don't need guidance with that, lol

Well I know with chickens, when first hatched they have 2 days worth of yolk in their system. So they can go without for 2 days. I'm sure buttons are like that too just not sure how long?

Thanks to you I will be staring at my eggs all day to see if I get some early birds too, as I'm due tomorrow as well. Hahaha. I'm in Hawaii though. So y'all are ahead of me. If you don't mind what time of day did you set your eggs? Mines was Jan 17th at 830pm.

LOL it's driving me completely insane. We have three in the brooder, happy little guys, two just want to sleep but the first born (Called it Kwanza...lol) wont stop pestering them!

I have a feeling when the other two dry and i put them in there, he's going to pester them too!

One more is trying to hard to get out of his shell, it is rather adorable to watch, but the patiency or lack thereof is torturing me!

He/she loves when I talk to t.. Cries when I stop and runs over to my hand when I put it in the brooder makes me happy. K is th only one so far that relaxes when I hold too.. The rest fidget lol
