Ok, I have 9 eggs that didn't hatch. 4 of them I'm pretty sure are no good but I tested them all. Seven of them only floated approximately the height of the measurements of their egg sacks. The other two, turned on their sides and bobbed. Today is the 23rd day in the incubator and I have Guinea eggs waiting to go in tomorrow.

Any idea how I should proceed with the 9 eggs? Thanks, Sylvia

I would crack open the top and see what they look like. Likely if they are alive they are shrink wrapped or sticky, and can't make it out on their own.

I haven't heard any peeping. I pick them up and peck on them with my fingernail and have the egg up next to my ear to listen for peeping. I even turn them upside down next to my ear and can hear nothing. With the others, if I wanted to see if there was any activity these methods worked. A couple of them are duck eggs and even in the one I can't see through, there is no noise nor rocking the egg.

Is it safe to say that come tomorrow about 10 or 11 am that if there is no activity, there is no life? Thanks, Sylvia

If they are shrink wrapped or stuck they wouldn't be able to internally pip, which means no chirping. It is up to you if you want to help them out or not if they are alive and stuck.
