Ok I float tested the remaining 12 eggs in in the 'bator. I've never done this before so I tried to go by the description in the sticky. I just want to be sure that I am getting it right.

Is the pic below of a "Low Floater"? Ten of them floated like this. Two floated a bit higher...with a lot more shell above the water line. Opinions please! Thank you!

floating with lots of shell above water is a bad egg..it has dried up inside or might go POP

this is a bad thing so if you are mad at akid...tell them to go outside and crush it..then lock the door

I don't get out muc...actually they won't let me out much...

the float test is typically done to test if eggs are good for eating not for hatching...how long have they been in the 'bator

I pull all sinkers and bobbers.
The rest I watch... if it moves it goes to one side of the bator the ones that don't move go to the other side.
Once all the movers have hatched I'll float again to see if any more move.

I only do this IF my hatch is late or having problems. Like my last hatch where I came home from work to find the breaker had flipped and the bator at 60F
This happened twice.

once on day 15

btw these eggs were set on the 17Jan..... they are very late but hatching.

So far I have 20 live hatched and 3 more movers in the bator out of 45 eggs.
