For free range or chicken tractor birds.. has anyone used something like this? It looks to be twice as expensive but at the same time there should be less waste i would think? We are planning about 20 chickens with 6 acres of ground shared with a couple horses and a cow or two, trying to figure out the best way to keep our chickens happy and healthy, total noob, but have been doing a lot of reading. How long do you think something like this might last under the conditions described, in good weather? I presume they will be entirely feed based during the winter and need a lot more food, looking into game bird pellets...
