Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Pics
I'm going to try BBWs again this spring. Got 10 or so now going to be processed in a couple weeks but very small. And I'm expecting piglets end of feb or early march. I was getting ready to have my boar processed and he escaped, well everyone escaped from their pen. He got hit by a car about 10 miles from my place. So 18 months growing pork and no pork. ARG.

Thats terrible your poor boar! All your progress for nothing :hit

I have two girls and a boy left, need to figure out an enclosure that will keep them in. So far, they've defeated me at every turn. But I've got an idea that I think will work, just need to put it into action.

Sounds good. I just finished my housework but just about to fold washing my favorite thing in the world :lau not.

One of our Christmas presents from Jordans nan!
I absolutely love it and got sooo excited over hand towels!

Okay Calm down and tell exact situation! I never kill mine I just give them away to the local pet store, can you keep roosters?
There is an upside to roosters! They protect your flock and are constantly on alert- if you get a good rooster that is! If he is aggressive, give him to the local feed store that’s what I do with my rooster chicks if I can’t sell them!

Is he friendly? Has he tried to attack? Does he bend down into attack mode if you try and feed him? What breed? I had a silkie rooster that wAs agressive And we carried a rake and if he can bear us we would beat him away, it worked! Would that be an option if he is attack?
