Wow! That looks amazing love! Just beautiful. Makes me think of a fairy garden like something that would be on a movie! I love the colour of the new rocks makes it look brighter

Thanks! She's part marans, so I expected her to lay those pretty brown eggs. Hopefully I get some blue layers too.

Yeah he's doing a lot better! He had all of us worried, this morning he woke "starving" so good sign! I woke with an ear infection so now I'm not allowed to go out in the cold wind. Ugh! Gonna have my 14yr old check on the chicks later.

The little fuzzies are definitely cute!

Ohhh nooo. Hope your ear infection clears up fast! I haven't had an ear infection forever. But the pain is so bad and can't hardly sleep.

Thats great news he woke up hungry this morning.

Flock Update:
Jordan/chickens daddy is getting the chickens a new feeder today after mum broke theirs lol.
Also, more feed for them.

Flock Update: I caved and bundled myself up and went to check on my little flock and I noticed BBQ had an irritated spot. Almost looked like mites and freaked me out but looks lik the new feathers coming in got picked at. I watched her for a bit and saw she had a bit more watery poop than normal so put electrolytes and vitamins in their water! Hopefully that helps her. Going to get some sand and a little shoebox to help in case of mites. I'm starting to think my Honey and Lemon might be Roos they were standing on the feeder trying to stand on tippytoes and stretching out their necks. Lol! If i have too many I'll have to rehome as I don't have a good set up for bachelor flock.

This will be my 1,001 message! I didn't realize I had reached 1,000 until this morning when I checked my alerts.

I got my second egg from one of my standard girls!

She tried to fit her big butt into the Bantams nest boxes first. It was a tight squeeze! I picked her up and set her in the standard girls fridge-nest and she started getting ready to lay.

In sadder news, one of my ducks is seemingly egg bound. Another warm bath is in her future. I might have to break out the gloves and lube if she doesn't lay soon.
