If your humidity is too low, a wet sponge works great.

Good to know! I have two small bowls in there now but if sponge is required i can set that on top. I got everything from dollar tree, was disappointed that they didn't have true square ones but hopefully this works!

Looks like my 40watts is too hot... might need just 25watts. I have two so i have back up

I won an auction and ended up getting some Chocolate Orpington eggs! She said it'll be a few more then 6 eggs!
Anyways I still don't have and incubator but looked online and made one! We'll see if it works! Temp is at 100F just trying to get the humidity right.

could you borrow a good incubator and divide the eggs among that and yours? Chocolate orp eggs are too good to lose. I wouldn't try them all in one bator in case something isn't working right.
