Why do you use towels I’ve always only used pine shavings with ducklings..

Cute ducklings, Mystic. When I was the feed store I checked out their pamphlet and listed were many kinds of ducklings and 7 colours of call ducks as well as the other bantam breed of duck, the black East Indies. Makes me want bantam ducks especially the Pastel calls. Will have to wait til I move to the country since the females make loud calls. Funny how it’s the opposite with chickens.

I got that list of ingredients in my duck starter.

It is:

Crude protein, crude fat, crude fibre, calcium, phosphorus, Vitamin A and Vitamin D

Why do you use towels I’ve always only used pine shavings with ducklings..

Easier clean up and helps absorb most of their messiness. With the towels i clean once a day and it does good! I heard if you use pine shavings you have to clean it more often...? They're enjoying it or really their swimming pool

So many chickens with bumblefoot in this wet weather. Just yesterday treated a total of three chickens and two of them had bumble on both feet. All were small and easy to remove and were wrapped with some bacitracin.
