Yeah. I still don't know why someone would abandon him on the side of a road.
I see so many chickens hit by cars here. Its sad.

Awwwww, - on one hand that's awful but on the other hand it's good for him because now you have him and giving him a great life and judging by your pictures he is well happy and healthy. We really need to give him a pond. A few months ago i dug a pretty big hole and filled it with water everday. He really loved that. When we moved the coop i filled the hole.
