Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Pics
Krystal, when I was about half your age, I loved to ride. We had friends with a farm and we'd go visit on the weekends. Their son and I would be up at the crack of dawn, pack a lunch in the saddle bags and ride. We had to be home before dark. It was a blast. Been thrown a few times and almost lost my head to a honeysuckle tree (google it), but that really didn't matter. After the last of the big steal strikes, they had to sell the horses and the farm. Haven't ridden since.

I dated a girl for a while that had horses, but all male and they hated me... So no riding there.

Today there's no way I'd put this big ole body on a horse. I don't bounce anymore, I just break :old

Ohh your still young love. 21 was it :D
I think I would like it. I love going on the back of the road bike and dirt bike.

I'm not sure which is worse, the fox or the coyote, the latter stay completely out of sight, but I've seen more than one fox bolt out of the bush, grab a chicken and keep on going. I had already decided that next time I see it, I'll sacrifice the chicken to end the fox. Then plan B came to reality, trust me with lots of challenges. A friend of DW has to move from the farm to an apartment. She re-homed all of her birds and her LGD was miserable. So free to a good home. So now we have Todd. Almost two years old, a Great Pyrenees mix, at about 85 pounds. He's been taught a LOT of bad habits, and allowed to chase cars. And he has huge issues with the pigs. But his first day on the job, he chased off a nest of raccoons, then he killed a couple opossums, and the fox and coyotes have moved to the other side of the mountain. So I'm calling this a win. Fox 2: Me 1. I'll take it.

Hows it going getting rid of the bad habits he has? I think we talked about him before.

Hazel Layed Again today. 60 eggs in total.

We win little battles one at a time. He about killed me last week. I cannot walk him on a lead after dark. He's gotten much better on the whole "hug" thing, but when excited goes right back to it. And he can't see moving vehicles unless he's in the house. My knee has finally healed, but sprained ankle and damaged foot are still here.

It's really hard to re-train a dog who was bread to exercise independent thought.

Pet Hazel for me. Good Job!

I will. I will give her a big cuddle. Every time she lays but I threaten the other 2 like you see this? If it doesn't happen soon its off to freezer camp and the Cockerel back chats me and then I tell him he will go visit them too since he has attitude.

I had a chat with my old girls, talking about the stew pot, and they started laying again.:gig

ETA: Extra Large Eggs

Ok I have already threatened them today so tomorrow ill talk to them about my stew pot and see if that works. I feel like today is the day but. They are over 5 months and 1 is really red and her wattles have dropped right down.
