We lost 3 of the 5 chicks we started with. It was extremely hard for me. It took me some time to get over.

Im in Queensland. It is Summer. Its overcast today and forcasted rain but nothing yet.
I have never travelled but maybe one day.
I have lost about 11 I think. I did have another thread Journey from the start of my journey if you ever want to read it. Its super sad!

I was the same. We had a fox attack when we were home and my partner and I went after it.

I had the same thing where it grabbed a hen and out dogs cut it off and saved the hen, then they chased it onto the next property

Our henhouse and run is predator proof thank god. We lost ours to an unknown cause within the first week of life.
