In about two months..
First day of spring is March 20th...
Last year I got my chicks on March 5th and I found that to be a bit early as I had to keep them warm with extra heat a lot longer than I probably would have had to had I waited till a while later.. we had a pretty nice and coolish Spring... soooo, this year I plan on waiting til maybe May before getting them.. that is if I don’t come across some of the breeds that I want because if I see them I KNOW that I’m gonna get em:p... no matter when it is! But I do want to expand my coop and run before it’s time to integrate...

I know what you mean. If I see what I want im getting them. I didn't get a call back from the breeder yesterday. Ill try again today.
 
Gardening Update:
The lady I gave the Chilli plant to. Has planted it in the ground with nice soil. Then came in to work today to show me photos! It was really sweet. She lost her Husband about 3 months ago and has focused on gardening to keep her mind off it. It made me smile I could do something so small and make someone so happy.
My day is made!

You are RIGHT... she DOES have a friend down under.. and so do I;)
Hers is the 14th... my moms was yesterday and one of my sons is on the 19th.. so we are celebrating all three this Sunday with a BBQ and watching the Saints in the playoffs.... Who Dat!!!!:woot:fl:celebrate:wee:ya:fl:woot

Ohhh. We are having a birthday dinner for me at my partners dads and step mums on the 19th and I told my partner I want to go to the pub one night too for steak and a beer :thumbsup
