I love guessing the gender I can hold at least 3 more Roos so I am really hoping that I get some out of this stock lol. I was so afraid that she took the chicks head off. I’m just glad everyone came out alive in that situation

When we first had chicks I made my partner introduce them to our old dog tank. But he loved them like crazy.

My partner just came into the bedroom and told me work wants to send him to America again for work but for 5 weeks this time. Last time was a week. I said that would be cool are you going? His not. He said he won't leave me alone at all. And he missed me too much last time. Its a great opportunity so see if he changes his mind.

Hi yall! How is everyone? I’m well... I wanted to know if yall would like to hear a story?... about my first ever chickens... which was in 2011.. and about some ducks... and some other critters we have had over the years.. it’ll probably start with the ducks.
I am looking through boxes of old photos.. so if and when I find the pics I’ll tell the story..
I will most likely start a thread for it...

No he only misses me when his away from me for a night or more. But I always say to him. Miss me today? His like nope. I miss him all the time.

Thanks! Hopefully tomorrow I’ll find the rest of the pics.. I have found some..
And did I tell you that I switched from pine shavings to sand in my coop? It has been great so far! I just scoop the poop out daily. It stays very clean and stink free
I use to pick out all the poop as best I could when I had shavings in there... I would do that about once every week or once every two weeks... but it was kinda hard to do plus it would get stinky by then... then I’d add some more shavings.... with sand it is just so much easier! I’ll post a pic..

What a great idea! I might sell this idea when I build a bigger coop! I love it!
