It's Sunday, January 27, 5:40 PM. It's been a cold, wet day here, so I just left the coop door open this morning and let the flock come and go as they please.

We haven't had rain in weeks. This time last year it was raining like crazy but this year nothing!

I dunno. I guess Napolean will go to my uncle’s next week. I’ll feel bad, but at least he can free range and be happy without another roo attacking him.

Its so hard to make these decisions but they have to be made thats why we have chickens, chicks, free ranging. We make decisions for the best of our flock and make them happy and healthy. This is why we enjoy having a flock. Plus the cute cuddles we get.
