We bought out here about 8 or so months ago and I love it. We are on 10 acres.

Morning, just, it’s 11.05am Monday 28th here. New school year starts tomorrow, kids are going into grade 4 grade 2 and kindy (preschool)
chicks are growing super fast, such gorgeous colours, it’s going to be hard to pick my favourites. Based on observation alone I think I can pick out 2 Roos so far, I’ll have to watch them another couple weeks before I can tell for sure.

Awww you have 3 kids boys or girls? I want 3 boys.
I hope they have the best first day at school. Will you have a peaceful day or work?

I don't do chooks. I have just got into quails. Last quail I owned was about 25years ago. Just getting back into them. Got my first hatch in incubator due today. Crossing fingers all goes well. 9 eggs are in hatcher.

Beenleigh at this point. But yes we will be buying next move. Too much gear to move from one rental to the next. Then I will set my birds up in heaven

I never had chickens until we moved here so im really new at being a chicken mumma lol

Larger house block in suburbs. I did have chickens growing up, but fell in love with quails. I can have more babies in quails then I can in chickens

Ohhh yes I understand what you mean. I only have 3 chickens at the moment but my plan is 20.
