We always have cats; normally there are only three, but Winchester and Zelda showed up needing a home, so we have five.He is very cute!
We only have chickens at the moment no other pets.

X2They are sooo beautiful! And Sebastian is just Handsome!
It was a good day... Went and got feed. Yesterday and today work has been cutting into my byc time, but finally got that out of the way. I will still be behind Monday, but hopefully I have a day or two to catch up. Hate it when the boss delays getting me what I need until Friday. On the up side, I had plenty of BYC time Wednesday and Thursday while I was waiting for the file. My schedule is crazy busy the first couple of weeks of the month and often with overtime, then it drops off dramatically. I don't get paid OT, but I can flex the hours. Which gives me more time for projects around here. Birds are doing well and survived the polar vortex and egg count is starting to rise. Getting about 5 a day now, today got 7. Still not enough to justify the gas to sell them.Good morning love,
How was your day? Anything exciting going on?

Winter for us starts in about two weeks so that will be an issue, but then again it only goes for about six weeks. And they are predicting an early spring this year, so I need to get going on getting my plants started. And tomorrow I'll work on the new pig pen again and try to figure out how to deal with the rocks. Also the lady who was supposed to sell me goose eggs last year has them this year, so I may be adding geese to my flock. The eggs are $25 each for this critically endangered breed. With a 50% hatch rate for shipped eggs, I need enough to ensure I get a good mix of boys and girls. I have an order for ten ducks (I have to use hatchery stock for them) that will hopefully pay for the eggs. We'll see.
