Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Maybe it’s because I’ve been around chickens for a while now, but the clucking and crowing doesn’t bother me at all. I love hearing the chickens. Sometimes I think neighbors are just crazy!

When we first moved here I could hear a roo but either his gone or I just don't notice anymore.

Hi yall! Here’s our temps today... it actually got to 80 a little later.. I love it:celebrate

J if the eggs are fetrile will you let your hens hatch them?

The eggs weren't fertile, so I just shoved both of them out of the nest boxes. Hopefully I won't have to bring out the broody breaker. :fl I probably would have let the girls if they where, each only had a single egg so it wouldn't have been a problem to let them hatch them.

Weather Update:
Its been raining on and off all night. Since 12pm last night we have had 7.8mm of rain. In the Northern Territory they are having massive floods. Its terrible. They went from no rain to damaging rain fall.

It's good you got rain! Not so good about the flooding.

How is everyone’s flock? :D

I free-ranged the entire day. Everyone had a great time! No more casualties has happened since the Red Pyle OEGB.

I think I might have out smarted the chicken snatcher. It has been stealing the bait, so I tied a piece of tonight's dinner, ribs, to the trap. No more squeezing the bait out now! :wee

What the hell!!!! So they are just nasty neighbors.
Yes! It seems to be fairly bad at times. Luckily we have new renters south of us but the owners of the house will turn us in if they see a violation.
