So, tonight I was checking the trap with all of the dogs. A fight broke out between Keke(50 pound pit) and Bella(10 pound chihuahua). Keke has never gotten along with Bella and fights with minor injuries have been the result.

Tonight was a night that just set Keke off for some reason. If I don't pull Keke off Bella, she will most likely be killed. I have separated a fight between them before, so I drag Keke off of Bella. Bella misses her mark(Keke) and bites my hand.

Vet wrap because wound + band-aid and no baby oil = extreme pain. It's not as bad as the size of the bandage would suggest.

Thanks to my knowledge of first aid (mostly chicken), me and bella both got patched up from our injuries. I don't think this is going to be a doctors visit for either of us at this point!

Im gonna read everyone’s posts when I’m in a better mood.

DH told me he got a permanent, full time job. He was on a student contract. Since we are house shopping I decided to bug him about getting a place with at least 2 acres. He said no because it is too much work. I reminded him I’ve wanted a farm house my whole life. He said yeah well I’ve wanted you to be thin.

Yeah. About a decade ago I was giving away roosters to a girl and their mom. As they drove away one of them shouted, “marry a farmer!”

Wish I did.

Im gonna read everyone’s posts when I’m in a better mood.

Im not skinny at all. Usto be but if Jordan says something jokingly he gets scared ill get as skinny as I usto be and apologise soooo fast.

Not Chicken Related: Just a Rant
So the roof lining in my car has come down were I can't see out of the back window so need to get it fixed. Called around no one available for a week or so but im on Holidays and see it done. So find a place an hour away. They say yes we will do it for $230 if you come right now. So off I went. Shopping only half put away.

Anyways im here now and the man says no thats more of a $250 job. I said nope. I got quoted $230 or I would have waited until tomorrow and got it done by another guy for $200 (just buffing). So he says fine we will do it for what was Quoted. I said yes or ill leave it. Its in getting done now.

Try and hustle a lady. Im not stupid.

No stitches, just two small chihuahua teeth shaped holes. I'm personally more worried about infection than anything at this point. With the help of my chicken first aid kit (fun fact, I don't have a human first aid kit ) I don't think I'll have a problem with an infection at the moment. I'm not mad at bell, she was just reacting to being attacked. Keke is in quite a bit of trouble though.

Bella has a few scratches and is still shaken up. She's in my bed resting up. For a few minutes my arm, up to my elbow, felt like it got slammed in a car door. By the way.... I'm a righty and my right hand is the one that got bit! This is going to to be problem!


Does anyone remember Haleigh Cummings? A five year old girl disappeared in 2009 only 15 minutes from where I live. My family knows of some of her family. It's the 10 year mark this Sunday I believe. It's a sad story, I can't explain it all so go to this link:

10 babies went home tonight! Unfortunately I suspect fowl play in the clutch of suspect australorps from the hatchery. One passed away last night from unknown but another went down hill today! Pretty sure it won't last the night and a third is also looking questionable put the best looking of the baby 'austra' in the mini to boost his temps for the night. But both questionable chicks were leaning back on haunches and don't want to eat pretty sure both are gonna give out by tonight.

If the black chicks have something like marrecks(they are sleepier than normal, haunch sitting, eyes closed, not eating.) are all the babies they interacted whith now at risk?! I had one die sometime this morning and 90% sure the Secound will be dead in the next 3 hrs and the 3rd is questionable.
