Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Evening or morning krystal :frow @WhoDatChick we have to figure out how to get her some mudbugs in the spring.... Last crayfish boil i did in the magic kingdom, the brits were not sure but the auisies loved them. Just imagine the customs issues of bringing live crayfish into Saudi. But we did it. and it worked.

Ps. Jordan is now camped on the lounge sick.

That photo is gorgeous! Geezzz I love egg photos!
What good girls you have!

It would have looked amazing with a green egg but still looks amazing.

Just watched the first episode of Crimes that shook Australia of the 1992 murder of 9 yr old Ebony Simpson.

Their only daughter. It was shocking watching the confession and his involvement in the search as well as the mom helping him when his car broke down.

To think they moved to the country for the kids and one dies. When I move to the country I'm gonna be extra careful now.

Once I worked at a Turkey farm. After they closed I was the only one left. Waited 2 hours in the front for DH who was my boyfriend at the time. He was sleeping and turned off his alarm. I was getting hypothermic so I started walking. Found an abandoned house with a burned barn. I was gonna sit in there til I saw shadows of maybe wild cats and noticed a jeep in the yard. Sat in it for about an hour I think, on mouse poop. DH finally got me when it was dark. Don't know what I would've done without my phone. Few years later Dellen Millard incinerates the body of Tim Bosma who was selling him a truck on k ijiji in the same area

I think remember the one your talking about. Where the mum helps him with his car. 1992 was when I was born. I see a lot of killer shows that the killer goes on the media or searches for the body with the search crew its unsettling.

I let the chickens out of the coop for the first time this evening. They wandered around the yard for about an hour then went back in. We used the time to clean the coop and move it. Five days in and can't believe how cool these things are.

Aren’t they the cutest!? I love em! Today I went to the flea market and the whole time I shopped it was for anything I could use for my chickens! I got a screen door for the extension we are building on the coop/run... I got them a ladder to roost on.. and a swing!!! I’m so excited to get to finish the run and yard so I can put in all the new toys:ya

Hello, I’m Anne. I live in Vermont, USA, and for non-Americans, it’s up in the Northeast, bordering Canada. I moved here two years ago, from Massachusetts, semi-retired. I’m a psychologist, working in a hospital and occasionally work in the courts.

I don’t have chickens yet! I have listened to others talk about their chickens (and other livestock) and I started wanting them SO much. The only updates I have are the ongoing “discussions” I have with my partner. He has agreed we will repurpose his old “parts” van (which still runs) into a coop. (Our property taxes are high and will be increased if we have a coop without wheels!)

Anyway, he claims he doesn’t mind the idea of chickens but this spring and summer, he wants to finish the garage, install the new woodstove, and finish another interior renovation first!

I probably can’t do all the work on the van myself. He is a carpenter and is also pretty talented at mechanics. I, on the other hand, am a good cook. So I’ll need his cooperation and help. Sigh. I wish I had chickens now!

Wish me luck! I will be helping with the garage. Last year he didn’t want me wasting time on a garden - we didn’t move in till June, a late start - but he loved the tomatoes and the flowers! I suspect he will like the eggs!
