Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Flock Update: Honey discovered the lowish roostbar! I was able to catch and hold a few of them. Trying to make sure i check them over as well so far no pasty butt! They are all a week old today so I introduced a grass clod for them to play with. I read adding a small clod from your yard gives them something fun and helps start building up their immune system too. My local pet store caters to reptile owners and when i pick up my Geckos crickets next week thinking about getting a couple tiny ones for the chicks. I have grit on hand to offer them with it.

Beautiful flock darling as always :hugs
Thank you!

Wow they look cool!!!! :love

I hope I end up with blue, mint green, chocolate(check), white, Olive(check), tan and brown. Then I'll have a rainbow of eggs! I'd love some croad Langshans, their eggs can range from purple/pink to an extremely dark brown with a bloom on them to look like plums!

Well.. Flock is doing goodish. Honey and Lemon are becoming more aggressive and won't let me hold them so making hard choice to rehome them. :hitMy brother wanted to thank me for running him around and he found some gorgeous rhode island reds! Which he got 4 to gift me. :gig:lau:hugs
So far the darkest one is Spicy and the medium red is Crispy.... the lighter two not sure yet maybe Pepper and Tabasco? I'll post pics tomorrow...

One of the broody ducks eggs is starting to hatch, two days early. :woot
Yay!

I miss the chickens..look forward to seeing them in about a year when they’re all grown.

I went with DS and my aunt, her two daughters and a friend to McDonald’s today, it was fun playing in the playground with them. Then we went to visit my grandma and then watch my sister do taekwondo and went home and ate pho.
