The guineas definitely have a nest in the rushes but I can’t find it cause the area is so overgrown.
They spend hours down there making their loud noises.

I think I have weird guineas or something Mine are always different than what people say they’re supposed to be. They’re supposed to hide their eggs, but mine lay them in plain sight! Usually beside my largefowl chicken coop.

My photos have been posting before my texts lately. Must be because I’m on my phone but we’re all in bed so

Found no poultry shows other than the one on October 6th. Guess I gotta wait.

Here in California, the poultry shows are all pretty much cancelled because of V New Castle disease. There will likely be no poultry at the county fairs either

I’m not much of a hoarder but I can see myself being a bit of one if I wasn’t married to DH. I would say I have few things but the few I have I value, or at least try to. One of my relatives on the other hand.. yup that person’s a level 4 hoarder.

Flock update: they’re sick
One of the blue buff columbian hens started sneezing yesterday and now they’re all sneezing.... I’m gonna try to take one of them to the vets today to see what the problem is, but the vets around here aren’t that great with birds.

While the LB and CM’s official names are AussieChick and ChickieMama.. I always give nicknames to long names.. and they’re still in honor of my friends here

. I read about that, I was hoping to go to a show when I visited California too. The last poultry show I went to was in 2015 in Hollister...I saw the cutest Dark Cornish bantams there and regret that I didn’t take a picture. It looked like this one but with bigger eyes and even more cartoonish looking. (Image from Google)
