Luna’s crop still isn’t empty, I’m just going to give her water today and we’ll see how that goes.

Green

The green ones can be very good!

Up north there are a lot of olive trees and processing plants. They stuff a lot of things in olives up there!

Flock Update:

My neighbor was selling some year old hens and since our roosters failed I decided to see what she had and take my 5 yr old with to see personalities.

These are the two we picked Buff Orpington and a Speckled Sussex. One a good egg layer and the other a good momma. Yay! Anyways they will get run of the coop and i installed a roosting bar for them but i might need to make some steps for them.

Everyone can see each other but no touching. It's really warm today so I'll go out and refill waters this evening.

It's supposed to be awful weather tomorrow so gonna make sure everyone is good on supplies tonight.

We're going to do a temporary run so the big girls can stretch over the next week without getting lost.

Also attached is a pic of my very pregnant cat... we were going to get her spayed but she disappeared and came back this way... she'll get spayed asap afterwards.

Oh, they are lovely!! I have both! So you did not get the roosters?

I CANNOT wait to see da baby kitties!! I love me some kitties!

Good evening/morning
Been quite busy, but I'm actually interested in getting ducks. They're not going to crow so I'm very interested in getting a little family (drake and... female duck ?) of them. I don't know that much about raising them but I plan on researching them for the rest of the day. Any information or tips welcome.

Edit: I'd plan on getting a new coop and run for them.

This is what I found just now ... I have seven gals laying... two must have laid late yesterday but for them to lay again that quick...! Wow-weee!! I love it!....
