Thanks! I think you're right. I was just out there and there quite a few even with the breezeGood job! gonna do my best to help you get that hen fixed up n get this stopped. Ill let you know what the vet says about your no see ums but im willing to bet my bottom dollar thats your problem.

Those things are just as nasty as the buffalo gnats but not the same thing from my reading online. Same family, different bug. Same treatments.

My welsummer pullet is wanting to be broody but she's not mature enough yet... she keeps stealing Cajuns eggs to sit on! She started having seizures and passed thank you thoughi just got back from town with an 18 inch metal fan, more promethrin and nutridrench and electrolytes for their water. I just sprayed the whole run and set up the fan and their new feeders.Fringers crossed for your hen and flock!!
