That is good news!Just candled the broody ducks chicken eggs there this morning and they’re developing![]()
Thanks for the tip! I'm picking up the keets tomorrow. She seems to have calmed down somewhat as of today but I'll keep them separate from her in the brooder for a few weeks at least, so she's more adjusted and they are bigger. Just to be safe.she’s still broody after being taken away from her nest ?
I’d be very careful when introducing her to the keets, broody guineas are crazy.
I tried to move one with keets into our barn last year because of a storm forecasted for the next day and she started attacking her keets and ended up killing two.
I ended up raising them in a brooder and reintroduced them to her when they were 6 weeks old.

she doesn't know what happened or what to do for her. She's thinking someone maybe kicked her, or a dog attack but no missing feathers or blood. Any thoughts?A person recently found string at the back of the beak that was keeping the mouth openSuggestions anybody? Asking for someone on a Facebook group chat. She says her neighbors hen's beak won't shut.she doesn't know what happened or what to do for her. She's thinking someone maybe kicked her, or a dog attack but no missing feathers or blood.
