Afternoon all!

@WhoDatChick and @FlockQueen so glad y'all are good!!
I certainly enjoyed the cooler temps... pulled my older two outside yesterday and got a lot of the junk laying around cleaned up! I got a lot of the mowing done too! Starting to look nice again.

Looks like lockdown will be either Sunday or Monday for the eggs!

Thanks! Been hiding inside till the last few days from the heat...whew! pics coming soon.. Have new rooster, hen and chicks!

Yes, thank God for sure! Hope they’ll all turn out to be duds! The worst part for us was at our camp.. when the surge comes up it floods up under the camps but that is to be expected.. they are all on pilings.. it was only about 2 feet high under the camp.. it has been worse.. it’s just a mess to clean up. And again, def not complaining!

I hear you! We have a swamp on the property and it poses some issues worth excessive rain but I'd rather have the rain than the wind!

How is Everyone? Whats new?

Nothing much has happened around here, just the normal farmyard. Congratulations on your baby girl! Hopefully, she loves chickens as much as you do!

I spent a few hours in the last couple of days picking Japanese beetles off of the roses and putting them in the run. TREAT! And you know what happens when I do that!

Thanks WhoDat and Ron! I love Lucille Ball, her smile reminds me of my mom and I’m pretty sure my sister has watched I Love Lucy reruns thousands of times! She was born 2 months before Lucille died.

DH’s family is visiting us for the weekend, we will go with them on a boat cruise tomorrow.

I’ve read up on chicken diapers this evening, I can see myself getting one one day. Apparently you can just empty the poop into a toilet. DH most likely wouldn’t want a house chicken but if we had to have one in the house temporarily then maybe.
