flock of mixed sizes?

Is it possible to have a happy flock containing mixed size hens? Or will the smaller hens get picked on? My plan is to free range them during the day and build a large coop for the entire flock. Newbie chicken person here

When they are raised together, bantams can do well in mixed flocks. Integrating them into an established flock of large birds is generally quite difficult.
