Flock placed with a good home

I'm so sorry to hear you had to get rid of your flock.. That happened to me 15 years ago and I was devastated. I never stopped wishing I could have them back.. I wasn't online then, and had no one to give ideas... I hope you can figure something out!

I can only imagine how upset you must be. Do you think you would have any luck trying to have the town ordinances changed? Being that so many larger cities (like NY) allow chickens, and all the information that is easily accessible explaining how green they are (creating compost, local food movements, all that) perhaps you could rally some support for a provision?

It boggles my mind that chickens can be banned when other animals aren't-large dogs can be both noisier and smellier, it just doesn't make sense. I don't understand how hens who are well kept should be made illegal, anywhere.
