I bought "flock starter" for my geese. Unfortunately, I won't be getting my geese until next spring.

Just wondering if I can feed it to the chickens.

Mix it in with the regular chick starter. I don't know what brand you have or the content but mixing it with a starter crumble for chicks should be fine.

I have never seen flock starter by Purina. is it a chick, duck, geese, turkey, gamebird mix starter? I use the purina sunfresh starter for my chicks and my geese are on the flock raiser.

The flock raiser is for raising broilers as well. It's what I use on my meat flock as well as waterfowl. It's absolutely fine for your babies.

I feed Purina Flock Raiser to everybody. Big Girls and the little guys and girls. Plus I feed it to may quail as well. They are doing wonderful on it. I may just stay on it when the little ones start to lay. I suppliment calcium for the big'ins.

My broilers get the flocker raising from day 1 to day last. I do toss some bone meal in with it if I happen to be making fertilizer that day.

Also, for the waterfowl, I also add in some brewer's yeast to up the niacin content.
