so i went to rural king to get some raw pig ears to make treats for my dog's cause my usual supplier didn't have any he hasn't butchered his hogs yet so anyway the girl that is in charge of the chicks was there and she saw me and goes oh thank God I was just getting ready to call you these white leghorns are getting to big and are flying out of the bin take them home 10c each so I said yes so 17 more white leghorns and the mystic marans I got from my friends im officially at my limit no more chicks seriously lol I know I will get more rural king always calls me the manager is my stepsisters aunt so next yr I'm gonna add on to my main coop

My hubby just cant be taught chicken math! When I said I was getting a couple more chicks. He freaked out when I brought home 12 instead of 2. Maybe he needs a tutor!

Thanks for sharing. I learned alot from that myself. According to #6..i dont have any chickens. So Im gonna have to go buy some because ive always wanted to own chickens.!

I have 3 of them 2 inside 1 outside but my outside brooder my daughter accidentally left it open on both sides and it started to poor down rain earlier and it is soaked inside and out and so were the chicks so I put the white leghorns in with the little ones and brought the outside ones in and put them in the other inside brooder to dry off so i didn't loose them and tomorrow they will go back out and the white leghorns will go back in the other one we just played musical brooders oh and I had to bring Cloud Jumper in to he was soaked he is new and kinda skinny i didn't want him to get sick he is the sweetest rooster ever @viggo63
