Flocking chickens again!

Well this will be flock number two. Moved 2500 miles from CT to AZ and can’t shake the chicken bug. Getting the chicks Monday and must say I am more excited than the first time. Lots of predators here but always up for a challenge.

Last time it was barred rocks, buff Orpingtons, eggers and a couple reds. This time I needs to get breeds that do well in high heat, so some eggers for sure, but I’m going to let the breeder guide me here. Any suggestions??

Maybe a white or cream breed; something that will reflect the sun's rays rather than absorb them?
