Hello, we are currently constructing a coop and have built the base so far which is several 2x6s and some 3/4 inch plywood on top. Our next step is to place flooring over the plywood. Thats where im stuck at this point. Ive looked at linoleum and vinyl flooring but most i saw online did not look like reasonable options. Any advice at all is so very much appreciated. Thanks.

We looked in the scrap linoleum regents section at Lowe’s which had some. Think about 20-25 bucks for 9x6. Also Craig’s list has people selling their leftover linoleum from home projects. We actually got some from family member replacing their kitchen floor. They saved me a piece the size we needed to complete my floor.

I used a single sheet of heavy duty foam backed vinyl flooring,
covered with pine shavings.
Had to shop it hard with hands on, many are thinner and crack easily, and it wasn't cheap(6' x 17' for ~$65).
It has held up well for 5 years now, I also used it to line my poop boards.
