I know this has been asked before but I can’t find an exact answer that fits our situation.
Asking for my grandfather, he has a flock of around 20 ISA Brown laying hens who live in a barn.
Around 2 months ago one bird started presenting with a floppy neck.
She has not had an injury, she wasn’t being picked on.
She is not ill, she is still eating and drinking on her own. She still walks around and lays. When she walks about she holds her head up just a bit wobbly (head not hen).
I have read about lots of disorders but her only symptom is the floppy neck, I don’t have a picture and won’t be able to get one as I am not able to visit the farm right now.
She has been separated from the flock (living in the same barn but separated by mesh so still able to chat with the other ladies). Anyone got any ideas, she is happy and not distressed at all.

It's hard to know what's going on with her, but you can try giving vitamin therapy to see if that helps.

I would give 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex once a day.

Thank you. Do you buy these as separate things or as a tonic?
Are you in the U.S.? If so, then you can buy vitamins separate at stores like WalMart or if that's not possible, see if you can get a poultry vitamin (like Poultry Cell) that contains E and B vitamins.

If you aren't in the U.S. then you may still be able to get vitamins separately at the chemist/pharmacy or if you have a feed/pet store see if they have vitamins for birds/poultry.
