FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Thanks you again for all your help! I met Mark and Mike last week for our chicks and told them you refered us, they seemed to know who you were and we'll be getting our food there!!thereby _

I buy my sand from this old man near my house. He sells the bags at $1 each. It's perfect too because there's some shells mixed in there.

That's awesome! I hope you enjoyed doing business with Mark as much as we did. What did you end up purchasing? He has a pretty good selection of breeds. :)

Are there any swaps or breeders who sell eggs in the panhandle of Florida? Specifically Okaloosa, Walton, or Santa Rosa? Thanks! Just trying to see what resources we have to use instead of by mail. :). Hi everyone!

I've been trying since March to get a female Pekin duckling. Do you ship eggs? How much, and are you NPIP?

Nope, not NPIP. They are my daughter's for 4H and her chickens get tested at the fair, but they don't test the ducks anyway. Not sure why, but they only peek at them for anything obvious and that's that.
i am going to the swap in jax on the 26th and would be willing to trade i got a bunch of laying hens im bringing and i would buy if she did not want the hens.

That would be great, but Jacksonville is a bit far.

Vendors can set up on the grass behind the fence but must not park their vehicles in that area. Vendors can also set up in the grassy area on the other side of the road as well as in the spaces rope roped off in front of the store. There is limited shade so it is advisable that vendors bring an umbrella or canopy for shade.

Thanks for the look inside your coops and the techniques you use! I will try and incoporate a few of these ideas into my own coop.

We ended up going for Black Cooper Marans ...(and a fun experience for the kids) and ended up with a BCM and 2 of the Black Tailed Buff Marans...also my husband fell in love with an Ameraucana Splash rooster ... so I totally ate my words when I told everyone there's NO WAY we're getting a rooster! Lol! Sweetest chicks we've had so far and the nicest roo I've ever met! ...so thankful!!

Took your advice and did a layer of sand, and 2 bags of Sweet PDZ, I'll have to do the DE when I finnish the nesting boxes! Can't wait to try scooping poop tomorrow! ! Never thought I'd hear those words leave my mouth!!
