FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

I hope you are not planning on eating anything from your garden because the birds will beat you to it and eat it. I know from experience. They can roam in your garden but they will also eat the plants. We free range our birds but when we plant the gardens we do our best to keep the birds out so they won't eat the plants down to the ground.

I find my chickens are "fine southern girls" who love the broccoli, kale, mustard greens, tomatoes and will go to great lengths to get to them. I do square foot gardening and most are 4' x 4' beds. I have 4 foot sections of fence on each side and have to put one on top too is they free range.

Anyone know of someone that has a black orp hen or pullet in the sw fla area. That looking to sell or hatch eggs would work.

I did very well at the Inverness show. I won Champion American with one of my Heritage Rhode Island Red cockerels and a pullet and also Reserve American with my cockerel. All of my birds did very well at the show.

Congrats on your win at the show!
I was looking forward to going to the show but due to circumstances beyond my control (kitty getting sick) the money that was supposed to go for chickens went to the Vet instead.
No Blue Angels either oh well there's always next year. LoL
Was the show good? Lots of chickens for sale?(eating my heart out).
