SEARCHING, like a mad woman, for:

****CALL DUCK HATCHING EGGS****

Please let me know if you or anyone you know has Call Ducks still laying for the season! I am VERY interested in eggs to hatch! Thank you!

my understanding is call duck's are done laying for the season. Most lay between April -July. I wish the best of luck in your search. I should have some pastel's come spring if you are still interested

Just curious...what does a pastel call duck look like? I think I've only seen the white ones (but I'm not real familiar with a lot of ducks).

hen these are just a couple of mine. Their coloring is a muted mallard coloring.

Well, I have one Call duck. She is 6 months old and White. I hatched her. My first Call duck (her momma) layed February - July but it all depends on where you live and your individual duck, as to when she starts and finishes laying. I hope to hatch a mate for my little girl by Halloween, so I can have a pair.

This is my Winter. She's a house duck. Her flock is my three Yorkies. Hatched by me and raised by my youngest Yorkie, my baby named Palmer. My Palmer immediately took to Winter as if she were her own and Winter imprinted on my Palmer. My Palmer and Winter absolutely love one another and have a very special relationship. I love my babies more than anything. I am VERY blessed

In the Tallahassee area!

There is a poultry show in Lake City in January. There are usually a lot of different birds sold as well. Not sure what may be there but it's possible to make some contacts there. A lot of people set up in the parking area with their sale birds.
