Hello: My name is Robert and I live in Fleming Island/Orange Park. I have 7 chickens right now. I am new to raising hens as well. I got three gold laced wyandottes from Katrina in Putnam county and they are wonderful healthy birds.

Have you been to the Middleburg Bird and Farm swap meet and the Bent creek swap? These are nearby and there are always people selling chicks there.

Hi and thank you!! I just had a phone call from a friend here in town that has a guy out in Hilliard, Fl that is giving me a few chicks this weekend... I will keep you in mind for future. Once I learn how to raise these babies well, I will be expanding the flock..Thanks again, Jacquelyn

Thank you for posting this. I never see Monticello or Thomasville, GA on this list but I know they have one at TSC. Do you happen to know which Saturday in the month Monticello holds theirs? I know T'ville is the first Saturday of every month. I am at that age where I can hardly remember my name half the time. I am going to take some roosters..... I hate it..... they are beautiful.

This time of year I think it is hard to find chicks unless there is maybe someone hatching now. The only place around here is Rural King. Good luck and I hope you find some.
