FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

I did see good videos on skinning, and tried it like that. But it seems I lack the arm strength to do a good quick job like the man in the video, I had to tug & wrestle with it for a lot longer than it takes me to pluck. And then there would be chaff from the feathers that would get stuck on the sticky membrane exposed on the skinned parts -- maybe because I didn't work as efficiently as the video guy -- and it was difficult to remove before cooking. Once I get a good scald on the birds the feathers wipe off as easily as removing the lint from a clothes dryer trap.

We had a BIG tree limb come down, almost hit the roof. Some other limbs that need to come down, alot of debris too. Power was out for about 4-5 hours.

I am more worried about the cold tonight and my garden. . .. .

We are suppose to get a forcasted low of 41 . . .. which could turn into a low of 30 something in my area.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope nothing gets burnt. I've got squash and Zuchanni plants with flowers on them already.
I've got pepper plants with 3 " long peppers on them already! There are 1 ft tall green bean plants and 18" tall corn plants . ..

we got hail our front yard was covered with ice.

I just brought in the chicks that I had outside too bad I can't bring in my garden

This morning we had some crazy lighting but it was nothing compared to last weeks weather, we had 2 trees fall down and lost power for 4 hours. I kept going in and checking my chicks and ducks saying please stay warm!!!

everyone is fine though!!

If you need tomatoes have lots of baby yellow tomato plants that I don't have room for in the garden. Come and get them.

Hope it stays warm enough for your girls and your garden
