Whats your craziest coop eater story?
I had a raccoon eat 2 of my chickens and seriously injure 1 and she didnt make it, i cried for 3 days, but that morning (it was literally 4 or 5am) we woke up to them screaming in their coop since i put the babies at my window and i grabbed the gun and shot shells, loaded it and shot the raccoon in the face with the .357 magnum, guess what? Raccoon didnt die and he left all my dead chickens, i set a trap the next day as well as reinforced my coop and places lights and torches all around the back area (predators dont like all that light) and put the trap inside some vines covering the ground with chicken bones from dinner that night and two days later the messed up looking raccoon came back, we shot him with the .357 once again at point blank, thinking it would do the job, no it didnt i had to pull out the .40 and shoot him 3 times and finally the job was done, yes i agree with relocating but if you eat my birds youre gonna come back and ive heard cats and dogs can walk MILES to find their owners so what makes that different from a wild animal and a really tasty meal
