FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

There are smalls chicks nearby my house that I haven’t seen with their mom since Tuesday. On Wednesday I saw 5, all black, today I only saw 2. I think the mom might have gotten stranded somewhere and the chicks are lost. This is on sw 24th st, Miami, between sw 27th Avenue and sw 29th Avenue. If anyone wants to care for them, I can help you gather them. I just sold my coop and can’t care for them. Photo is from Wednesday.

Does it have good zoning for the purpose? Some FL counties make it hard and some are really easy.
My brother was checking on that. The back half is zoned wetlands so we have to build it up. Zoning rule residential and pretty much the only restriction is one home per acre of land. Its a 2.5 acre tract.

Careful! If it's zoned residential you would need to check with the county for any ordinance about livestock. Really only agricultural zoning is free use land.

He has looked into it and it wont restrict my want of chickens. Its very close to our restrictions where we are now.

I just checked again and in the county info it can be used up to commercial farming. I think I'm good.

Hey folks, in my county if the property is zoned Agriculture, and you have farm animals or fruit trees on the property, we get a discount percentage only on the property taxes for the year, no discount in the area of the land that no animals or agriculture is being grown. as you can imagine property taxes out here is very high, specially in residential tracts.

Miami is probably more similar to New York City than Pensacola
