I prefer Murry Mcmurry over Ideal. I had problems with sick chicks from Ideal.

Ideal is the only place that has the birds I want, or rather ALL the birds I want in one place so that I dont have to go through 3 different hatcheries.

OK, just watch the chicks. Several people have dealt with cocci from them and respitory issues. Since they have never touched the ground , it traces back to them. I had to kill all my meat birds. Good luck.....................

I have 4 unsexed silkie juveniles for sale at $20 each. I'm in the Gainesville area and will be taking these juveniles along with 4-6 babies about 2-3 weeks old. They are blue, black and one white and one partridge. Below are pics of some of the ones in the grow-out pen but I don't have individual pics of the ones for sale. I can get them if anyone is interested. The light ones are my lavenders and aren't for sale. The cuckoo roo is their "daddy" and also isn't for sale!!

I used to live in Orange Park but now I live in a rual residential area of Jacksonville. I have mostly several different breeds of Marans, some other chickens that are my main egg layers, and some lav/split black project orps. We got back into chickens last year after not having them for about 5 years. Before, we have had barred rocks and leghorns. I had my first leghorns when I was 5. We also have some guinea keets and muscovies. We are debating on getting a goat for milk. DD (teenager) wants one and says she will milk it. Haha I know how that will go, I will end up doing it. So that's why I am debating about it lol.

OMG, did they at least refund you or anything?

I'll be sure to keep mine quarantined for a while before I introduce them to my flock. Thanks for the advice!
