I just have a question! I wanted to know does anyone near Florida have turkeys? I'm looking to buy just a few babies! I'm looking for these breeds royal palm,blue slate,Narragansett,bronze breasted but mostly wild eastern!

I have Standard Bronze (not the broad-breasted type) and Midget Whites myself. Vince at Freckle Face Farm has Narragansetts. Palms are fairly common at the swaps, but at the moment I can't recall who it was who breeds them. Slates I can't help you with.

The Fish & Wildlife folks are toughening up on game breeding so Eastern Wilds are a little harder to find now since they require a game farm license to breed or so I am told. The Osceola strain of Eastern Wild is the one native to Florida.

I was at Lewis' Feed Store in DeLand last week. They had turkey pullets, Peking ducklings,,and geese.

I loved my Maran babies, even named one Cuddles. Now they are older and still sweet, beauitful girls. Enjoy your Chicken experience.
