FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

How do I post a picture? Everyone says it takes 10+ posts until you are allowed, and other say the same AND look at the blue bar....I see nothing that guides me to posing a picture. To be perfectly honest, I'm almost 40 years old, have no Facebook or myspace account, can update our business computers, put out fire and rescue people (yes, I'm a firefighter / paramedic), but can't find the 'button' to upload a pix on this site.

I'm laughing but still can't find the link. Can someone help me?!?! And, this is my first thread/communication website. It's nice to have a first and find everyone really cool. Not an ordinary BS site. It's very refreshing, by the way. Thanks for all you're help!

When you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see an area called 'reply'. If you move your mouse over the icons in the toolbar, the 5th one to the left of the smiley will say "insert image". CMOM has it circled in a post above. If you click that icon, you will see a grey button 'upload files'. Click that button and go thru the locations in your computer to find the pic you want to post. hit the 'submit' button! done. I find it easier to save my pic to my deaktop before uploading it, but I'm not too computer savvy. .......stan

Thank you, very much Cindi! I think the problem is that it can't be done with an iPad. I'll have to try with a laptop, or regular computer tomorrow.

Thanks again for the assistance!

This is a call for help from those living south of Lake Trafford, Florida.
I have a 4'x8' "stilt" chicken coop, elevated 30" off of the ground, with a fully enclosed pen underneath (in case I can't let the girls free range in the yard).
I have 2 black bears frequenting the coop. One, a 250 pounder, will sniff all corners and head to the back of my property and eat the deer corn...not too much problem. The other, a young 150 pounder, that I caught on my game camera, sniff 3 sides, then, climb to the top, pull the door slightly open and look inside, all the while hanging off of the side! (I will post a picture at a later date, check back, it's worth seeing! Also...when I learn how to )
Does anyone have any suggestions as to make the coop more bear-resistant? I have 'tapped' a couple of bears, a couple of times with a rubber-tipped arrow, from 30 yards, to scare them off. As you Floridians know, they're protected and cannot be shot. But, they are becoming more adaptable to the neighborhood and more persistent.
I recently reinforced the coop (after losing all 4 on the Fourth of July) and put our second set of girls (5 of them) in the 'big girl' coop. After seeing the bears' persistence on my game camera, I ordered a 'Red Snap'r' brand, 5 mile, 2000 volt, 0.5 amp fence charger, and hardware to install it.
Any feedback on the size and type of fence charger I bought?
Has anyone tried to use this method of protection?
Any additional thoughts or ideas as to help keep the bears at bay?
In advance, thanks for any and all input!

Would LOVE to see those pics if you've managed to figure out the photo thing

Picanins, tigercreek, and cmom,

Hello all! Guess what?!?! I did it! I posted a picture!

I guess you can't do it from an iPad. UNLESS....it's just easier with a home PC or laptop. The icons are easier to navigate!

Here is a picture of one of the bears. This is the one that climbs the coop. Tomorrow, I shall post the 'climbing' picture, along with the new and improved and electrified coop. And, no, the coop is not sliding down-hill, the camera got bumpped by something.
Thanks again for laughing with me and helping me to navigate this site
