Welcome and hello from the First Coast!

Hello!

I'm a newby here from south Florida; specifically Okeechobee, Florida.
I have a tiny, much loved flock of buff orpington hens, a mutt, bantam rooster and a one of their offspring; with a few more in the incubator. In the future I hope to add some bantam salmon faverolles. Nice to meet you all!

Cathy

All I took pics of were Cubalayas, there were 2 pair! Very unusual to see

them in a Fla show. I took a few bad pics of some Australorps, and that was about it. No Delaware that I saw, in the show or outside for sale. Lots of those Silkies though!. Got a couple of Cream Legbar chicks and some New Hamp eggs. Just incase I need another breed or 2!. ........stan
There was a lady with some Delawares outside for sale in the next row over from me.

Dang, that is disappointing. I think I realized that I missed a row as we were driving away. As we were going down the road, I saw that row and thought I didn't see those folks. Oh we'll..... It was a fun show, gratful for the supplies I picked up, happy to meet fellow BYC'ers and excited for the eggs I picked up from Mr. Hortsman!

BYC new egg. Have kept chickens for 3 years. Mixed flock of layers (7), transient flocks of Freedom Rangers (25 at a time), and going to try turkeys come spring. Northwest Florida.

I was a little dissappointed with the show. It didn't seem like there were very many large fowl and the rows were closed most of the day for judging so we really did not get to see most of the birds up close. Next year I will time it a little better. There were a lot of beautiful game hens and bantam breeds and some of the biggest most beautiful Rhode Island Red and Light Sussex roosters I have seen and some very nice birds for sell.

I kind of felt te same. I went looking for BBS Cochins, I arrived at 10:30, and almost all where all sold :th and no LF Cochins for sale.
I also never got to look down the LF aisle of the show, which I wanted to do to find some names for the Cochins. Oh well. It saved me money, so I won't complain!

That same lady with the Delawares has been there every year for the past few years that I have been going. She pretty much always sets up in the same area.
