FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

The red comb on the top of their head starts to turn blue. I had to look it up. I'm new to this too and I'm trying to keep my girls healthy. When I started reading about under two years and about the heat, I'm pretty sure this is what we have. I'd just file this under "things I wish I knew about earlier".

Depends a lot on the breed and age. Usually a cockerel will have thicker legs and develop a larger and redder comb and wattles. As they grow adult feathers, cockerels will have pointed feathers on their neck and just in front of their tail. Sometimes it's easier to just wait till they crow!! ......stan
